Stronger and better made than most.  With extra-long option, can be used where canoe is wider.
Motoring solo in a double-pointy-ended canoe is dangerous. It is much safer to turn the canoe around, sit on the front seat, and motor that type of canoe stern first. Unfortunately, other motor mounts aren’t long enough! We’ve solved the problem with the extra-long option for this motor mount. Also use it to add a side motor to a square-stern canoe.

This extremely strong and durable canoe trolling motor mount is constructed and designed with simplicity and durability in mind. The aluminum frame and clamps WILL NOT rust and can withstand both wet and dry conditions and all water types. The Double Block face is strong textured HDPE to create a grip tight surface helping eliminate slippage for secure motor mounting.

Maximum Clamping Width: 19 inches (standard version) or 29" (extra-long version)   Select using drop down box above and note price changes as you change your selection.

Block Thickness = 15/16" (one sixteenth short of an inch)

*If your canoe measures wider than 19 inches where the Tuff Motor Mount will be placed, it is recommended to purchase the extra-long version.   Note that the extra-long version can be converted back to standard any time you want.

Block is angled to compensate for the angle of canoe gunwales near the ends but works equally well with level gunwales.  Just adjust the angle of your motor to vertical using the motor's built-in adjustment.  Since motors only adjust to tilt from 90-degrees forward, the block is angled back.
