Strong and convenient. Motor mount for canoe. Available in standard version (30" over-all; maximum 20 inches between clamps) and extended version (39" over-all; maximum 30" between clamps ). Made in USA.
In the standard version the width between the clamps is adjustable up to 20 inches. This is more than enough to fit the rear of a typical pointy-stern canoe. But a few people have square-back canoes that need the longer version, or they want they want the longer version to put the motor father forward on a pointy-stern canoe . For them, we offer the version with extension. The extension is removable. Once you remove it, then your motor mount is back to being normal length.
In the extra-wide version, the maximum distance between clamps is 30" and the over-all measurement is 39"
The block is angled back so that your motor can be set straight up and down using the angle adjustment built into your motor even if your gunwales are not level. Since motor angle adjustments only go from vertical to tilted forward, you need an angled block on many canoes in order to get the motor vertical.
Suitable for Old Town, Coleman, Wenonah, SportsPal, Radisson, Mad River and all other canoes. However, if your canoe is a Mad River Adventure or other "hybrid" (Native Watercraft Ultimate, etc.) notify me after ordering, requesting the special deep clamps such kayak/canoe hybrids require.
