All metal canoe motor mount is very sturdy and versatile. Will work with virtually any canoe. Height of mounting block is 4 inches. This works great with Minn Kota and most other motors. This listing also includes mounting brackets that bolt onto your boat for boats that do not have suitable gunwale for clamping to ("J brackets" or "false gutters")
Gunwale clamps can go on inside of canoe or outside, depending on where your canoe has the best gunwale lip. Being over 3 inches wide, these clamps grip really well.
Motor mount is 3 feet long over-all including the block on the end which is 8 inches. Clamps slide to align with your canoe's gunwales so don't worry about it being too long. Any extra length can just overhang. If you want a longer version of this motor mount, we also have 40-inch and 45-inch available at the same price so just specify in a message to us when you buy if you want a longer one. We could even go longer than that for $20 more. Remember 8 inches of the length is the block on the end.
Material is anodized extruded aluminum with stainless steel hardware. Internal square channels in the crossbar accept 1 x 1 square tubing, so this motor mount would accept the slip-on wheels or stabilizer floats we sell, or do-it-yourself accessories you may design based on 1 x 1 tubing. Weight is 4 1/2 pounds.

5 stars
best motor mount i ever tried
i used this motor mount today on my old town tripper canoe ,with a 40lb thrust minkota endura max . it is extremely strong , there was no flex ,at all , the clamp worked great very secure ,they did not loosen at even with the motor at full power. 20 years ago i bought my first trolling motor for this canoe , but after trying several mount out of frustration i made my own . 20 years later my mount is showing its age , and i saw this one FANTASTIC i don't have to make a new one . Simple design fast to install , lightweight , yet incredibly strong at a great price !
