This is a genius invention, that has been around for over 25 years, and proven its worth.
Imagine generous padding under your bum when it is a seat. And the same generous padding on your shoulders when it is a yoke! Turn it one way it's a seat. Turn it the other way, it's a portage yoke.
Imagine carrying a canoe upside down on your shoulders, over your head, but you can actually see where you are going. Why? Because that same bend in the downward direction that makes it a seat with a good low center of gravity, when reversed, becomes a bend in the upward direction to get your head out of the bilge of the canoe!
The seat comes with two clips that you screw onto the gunwales of the canoe. The yoke/seat then snaps into those clips. Screws and instructions provided.
Choose color with drop-down box. If you have an unusually wide or narrow canoe, send us a message to alert us to that right after ordering. Unusually wide would be more than 38 inches and unusually narrow would be less than 34 inches.
